Where Is The Love, music sheet (1972)

This famous song written by Ralph McDonald and William Salter was released in 1972. It was a huge hit and the single (taken from the album Donny Hathaway and Roberta flack) reached number 1 in R&B US charts in August 1972. It peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 the same summer. The song was certified gold (First one for Donny) won a Grammy award for Best Pop Performance by a duo or a group with vocal.

This duet (written by keyboardist James Mtume & guitarist Reggie Lucas) with Roberta Flack was a big hit in 1978. Taken from the album Blue Lights in The Basement, this song was recorded when Donny was in a very bad shape. The single went gold and reached #1 in the R&B charts & #2 in the Billboard Hot 100.

This Massive hit was written by percussionist Ralph MacDonald & William Salter.
Released in 1972 from their Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway album, it spent a week at #1 on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
It also went to #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart in July 1972 & was certified gold in USA.

This song was given to Cold Blood and appeared on A Taste Of Sin, (1972, Reprise records).
Donny played the organ, the piano on it. He also arranged & produced the LP. This funky tune appeared on Donny's last studio album, Extension Of A Man, issued in 1973.
