| Someday We'll All Be Free - japanese SHM-CD version - July 2011 - front cover
The japanese version of Someday We'll All Be Free box set was released on July, 9th 2011, 18 months after the french original limited edition. This new 4 cds box (WQCP-1075/8) has the same musical content but the packaging is a little bit different even if the cover looks like the french one. The japanese set is bigger and contains 2 booklets. The first one contains some different stories than the french one. The second booklet, printed in B&W, contains lyrics from all songs even the unrealised stuff. That's a great addition for fans. There are also some black & white pictures but sadly the printing quality is not excellent which is very surprising for a japanese release. The sound of SHM-CD is quite similar to the french CD.

Radio show on RFI, aired on Saturday !
French radio, Radio France international (RFI) is going to broadcast a special radio show on Donny Hathaway on saturday 20th at 9:10 PM (french time) that means 4:10 PM in NYC, 8:10 PM in London & 5:10 am in Tokyo !
You could listen to the the show online everywhere in the world.
Frederic Goaty, the editor in chief of Jazz magazine, who hasbeen involved in the french boxset will talk with the Loïc Bussières, the boss of Nu groove.

Jealous Guy, unreleased studio version (1971)

Donny Hathaway recorded a studio version of Jealous Guy in 1971 but it was never issued.
Next month, the track will be available on the french boxset.

How to order the french box on amazon.fr ?
This is a little tutorial for those who are not familiar with french language. Hope it will help you to order "Someday We'll All Be Free" box.
1. Click on the Amazon link
2. If you want to order more than 1 box, change the quantity (quantité) & enter the right number & click on "mettre à jour" (update) button.
Then, click on "passer la commande" (order)
3. if you already have ordered on Amazon (even if you live outside France) enter you email adress (entrez votre adresse email) & click on "vous êtes déjà client" (that means you are a returning customer). Then, enter your password & click on "continuer" (follow).
4. Choose an adress and click on the yellow button "envoyez à cette adresse" (send to this address)
5. You have to choose the shipping between fast airmail(éclair) or normal airmail (standard). It depends where you live but "Standard is ok. Then click on the yellow button "continuez" (follow)
6. You have to choose which credit card you wanna use then click on the yellow button "continuer"
7. You have to choose the billing adress then click on the yellow button "continuer".
8. Now you have to finalize your order. Check your adress & click on the yellow button called "validez votre commande". It's done !
