This article was published after Donny Hathaway's death on Feb 22, 1979.
"SOUL" Newspaper / News Magazine was published bi-weekly
and was founded by Ken & Regina Jones in Los Angeles in
1966. It was the premier source for music and entertainment
news in the African American community until 1982. It
featured amazing articles, columns about happenings on each
coast, record reviews, tons of great pictures and lots of great
vintage advertising for albums, singles and concerts... this is
truely one of the best written most informative sources of
information on the black music / entertainment scene
through the late 60's and 70's.
