You Better believe it (2004)

You Better Believe It is a 25-track trawl through the pick of 70’s Modern and Rare soul across all the Warners labels, and the standard is never less than excellent throughout. Selected by Richard Searling and featuring the likes of Gerald Sims, Jean Battle, Classic Sullivans, Cool Sounds, Prince Phillip Mitchell, Duponts, Sam Dees, Booby Sheen and The Dynells, many are ultra rare but keenly sought-after and the majority are on album and CD for the first time, including a never before released version of Donny Hathaway’s classic Love Love Love.

  1. I have an mp3 of a track called "What A Woman Needs" from an Atlantic compilation CD called Atlantic Unearthed:Soul Brothers. ID tag says it's from 1973 which sounds a 'bout right. Great track. I can't find it on the main albums - any details known?
